Who is planning to come???

Just curious for space reasons and getting a show hall I was wondering how many
people plan on coming to the show????

I know making cards for each model you want to show is a pain but I promise once
you get them done you dont have to do them again and your ready for any
collectibility class at any show now, your ready to go to NAN and if you sell
your model having that card to go with it is a plus to other showers who may
want to buy your model.

If everyone can drop me a line to let me know if would help out a bit.

Show Hall Updates

Just giving you all an update on the show hall information....

This weekend I checked out our grange hall and it will not be big enough for a
Trad size show...now mini show it will work out for the future.

I checked in to the brand new Octoberfest building in Mt Angel and though its
VERY expensive for the space I dont need the whole thing so Im hoping they may
be able to make me a decent deal.

The Oregon Gardens wants alot and seeing as I dont know how many people will
come or how many people would stay at the gardens she cant give me a definite
price cut and Im a bit afraid going into it with them not knowing a set amount.
I had that problem with All Hallow's Live where the hotel in Salem drained my
bank account with charges they did not tell me I would have to be paying.

So if all else fails here in the next couple of weeks I am going to go with the
Phoenix Inn in Albany.

I will keep you all posted.

I have the Peter Stone collectibility and I think what will be the final draft of Breyer collectibility. SO check out the group and view the class list. Hoping to have the show program together here within the next day or so.

Luck of the Irish Collectibility Show.

Hello all-

Im just announcing that I have decided that Luck of the Irish will be an ALL collectibility show !!!
I think I had hinted about it and now I am confirming that this is the plan. It will be an all Trad show of Breyers and Stones.

We havnt had that type of show around here and I like to do things differently so here we go. And well we all need more of those YELLOW cards anyways.

So I would take this time to start working on those collectibility cards for each of your models.

You can NOT show without documentation that is neatly written or typed up. A one line about your model will NOT be accepted.

To start you off here is the basic of what should be on your card:

Model's Released Name
Manufacturer
Model's Number
Color
Date Released
Number Released
Other models info

Yes, for some this may seem like a big annoying chore. But just think once its done you never have to do it again. You will be ready for any collectibility class at any show.

I am also most likely going to have the show in Albany,Oregon at the Phoenix Inn where Cheryl Wood holds her Mid Valley Classic. They have done her show for 4 years now and know how a model show should be set up. Its alot less stress just doing it there instead of trying to go back and forth with a place that knows nothing about what we need for a set up. Ugh, been there before. BUT if this ends up looking like a big turn out then I will look for something bigger.

Im working on a basic class list and then will also need people's input on breaking down classes and such. Especially with Breyer's since Im mostly a Stone Collector.

No minis in this show. If things go well I will plan to do a collectibility mini and resin show maybe later in the year.

Any ideas or questions, want to JUDGE please feel free to ask !!!
